What I most thankful for is life. I'm grateful to be here and stay with the family I love. I'm grateful for everything my family lets me do. I'm grateful of all the great awards and honors I have received. I'm grateful that i'm almost done with school and how high my GPA is. I wish to continue to do great in school.  

Are Professional Athletes good role models?

I think professional athletes can be great role models. They often inspire others with their hard work, dedication, and perseverance. However, it’s important to remember that not all athletes are perfect, just like anyone else. It’s good to look up to their positive qualities, but also to recognize that they are human and make mistakes too. 

Especially the popular athletes, a lot of people , mostly the younger generation, look up to the known professional athletes. They want to grow up and be just like them, but I just feel as if since they have people looking up to them, they have no room for mistakes. But everyone makes mistakes, so in reality, it’s really not far. 

Are fathers crucial to the development of a child?

Fathers are crucial to a child's development for many reasons. First, they provide a different perspective and parenting style, which  helps children learn and adapt to different approaches. Fathers often engage in rough and tumble play, which promotes physical and cognitive development. They serve as male role models, teaching important values and behaviors. I've noticed that children who have fathers that are involved tend to have better social, emotional, and academic outcomes. Its still important to have the presence of a loving and supportive parent, regardless the gender, is what truly matters for a child's development. 

Is There Too Much Emphasis Put on Winning in Sports?

I feel as if there is too much emphasis on winning in sports. Playing sports is supposed to be fun and something that can help you calm down. Most coaches put on athletes that winning is the most important thing when it comes to sports. But when the coaches make the sport all about winning, it puts stress and pressure on the athlete that takes the fun out of the sport. 

Challenges Faced by Student Athletes 

Student-athletes have to think about having passing grades. Unlike regular students, we are required to not have any failing classes and maintain a certain GPA. This can be really difficult with having practice 3-5 times a week because it really limits time for homework and time for yourself. Also a lot of student athletes struggle with time management. Knowing how to work your schedule is crucial when you are a student athlete. 

Female Sports 

"There are those who say that female athletes have it more difficult then men."  Today, I am going to tell you why I agree with this quote. I agree with this statement because I feel as if female sports don't get as much attention as male sports. I feel like males have a greater opportunity to succeed than females and they get more support and fan attention. 

My Favorite Place

One special place that holds a special meaning to me would be the beach. It's one of my favorite places to relax and soak up the sun. There's something so calming about the sound of the waves and the sand touching your body. The beach is the easiest and closest vacation spot that me and my family could go to, to have a good time. The beach has so many fun activities you can do and so many new foods you can try. I just love it! I also love crab legs and the beach has some of the best crab legs. 

My Greatest Inspiration 

Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. My biggest inspiration is my grandmother. My grandmother helped shaped my way of life and helped me become the person I am today. Since day one, she has always been there for me and never let me down. Seeing how strong she is, influences me to be strong in life.

When thinking about my passion, I think about competitive cheerleading. Ever since I started cheering, I instantly fell in love with the sport. I love being given a routine and having to perform it to the best of my ability. I love helping and motivating my teammates to be the best they can be. I enjoy learning different tumbling skills and trying out different stunts with my stunt group. I love being able to go out on a competition mat to perform and hit the routine. 

Media is important in sports because it helps athletes build deeply engaging brand profiles and connections to fans and audiences. Their positive public image on social media brings athletes more sponsors for endorsements and other opportunities. It can also enhance your organization at the same time. For instance, if our football team continuously wins, the media will continue to talk about and cover us. This will lead more people to come out and support.
