I love being part of the Wilson family! Prior to Wilson, I received a master of library and information science degree from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Vermont. I also taught English Language Arts at the middle level and Montessori at the primary level, and worked as an editor in the publishing industry.

For over 20 years, I’ve dedicated myself to education, working in diverse roles and environments to inspire a love for learning and to support student growth. I'm thrilled to return to my alma mater, where my own educational journey began. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a community that shaped my path and to give back to the institution that gave me a strong foundation. I look forward to bringing my experience and passion into this new chapter, and I'm excited to work alongside colleagues and students to continue the tradition of excellence. Go Tigers!

 

I have 17 years of experience in education working various  jobs in Florence 4. I've worked a year and a half in Florence 1. It has been a humbling experience for me and I'm glad to be a Wilson Tiger.

Borrowing Policies

Students may check out TWO books for 14 days.  Books may be renewed for another 14 days unless a hold has been placed on these items.

Hold Policies

A hold may be placed on any books that are currently unavailable. We will notify the student as soon as the book is available in the library. Books with a hold request may not be renewed.

Overdue, Lost and Damaged Book Policy

No overdue fines are charged by our library. Students must reimburse the library for the full replacement cost of any lost or damaged book. No additional books may be checked out by a student with an overdue book on his or her record - this includes all books checked out to students while attending any other schools in Florence One Schools.

Borrowing Policies for Other Items

Students may check out magazines for 7 days. Books available at other schools in Florence School District One may be requested. Borrowing policies for the lending school will be enforced.
